Triangle Global Health Consortium

The Triangle Global Health Consortium (TGHC) is a nonprofit member organization representing institutions and individuals from the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, the international health development nongovernmental organization community, and academia. TGHC includes 18 institutional members and numerous individual members, representing some of the best and brightest in the field of global health.

TGHC’s mission is to establish North Carolina as an international center for research, training, education, advocacy, and business dedicated to improving the health of the world’s communities. It seeks to engage academic, governmental, business, and nonprofit organizations in this collaborative effort.

TGHC strives to provide a wide array of programming to draw attention to global health issues, to highlight the ways in which member organizations work to address global health challenges across the world, and to promote interaction, networking, and collaboration among its members and across the larger global health community. TGHC breakfast discussions and other events bring people together from all across the spectrum of global health work in the Triangle: undergraduates to post-docs, junior staff to senior leadership, state and local officials, researchers, academics, business and community leaders.

Structure & Governance

TGHC is governed by a Board of Directors made up of an Executive Committee and Directors.

This Catalogue of Training Resources is a service that TGHC provides to its members, with the goal of promoting ongoing professional development and linking global health professionals with programs and opportunities to advance their knowledge, skills, and competencies. It is a constantly evolving project — a work-in-progress that relies on the global health community to provide information about additional training resources and opportunities that may be included in later revisions.
